I just bought a 2000 GSR I was wondering if there are any recalls or problems I should watch out for. What do these cars run in the 1/4 stock. Any info would be helpful Thanks

 

quarter should be around 15.6 range
good luck i dont know of any recalls for the gsr for those years
a 2000 is 6 yrs into the line, so im pretty srue they got almost everything figured out by then

I have a 2000 GSR...never had any problems. Have fun...its a great car!

 

A lot of integras (including my 99') have a problem with heat-shield rattling. Easy to fix but I've heard of this problem from almost every long-term integra owner.

The older integras had a tendency to have paint fade (milano red esp)

I have a 2001 GSR and have had no problems. Welcome dude, youw ill love your GSR.

 

some common probs with 3g integras:

heat shield rattles (already mentioned)
hub springs on the clutch popping out
cracked radiators
weak brake rotors (tend to warp easily)
hatch rattle

 

hatch rattle is universal for all 3 drs
heat shield is universal as well
the spings in the clutch popping out is just thing with honda, i had it happen twice in my civic as well and with friends car
the radiator crack really only happened on the 94-96's

 

did they switch to an aluminum radiator? otherwise the radiators will still crack...i think it's just a matter of time before it will.
