Default tire size

i have a 2001 gsr. it has 195 size tires on it right now on the stock rim. Will 205's fit without rubbing. I need new tires and would like to go as wide as possible.

205 is what I am running. I only rub every once in a while when I turn the wheel all the way with a little bit of speed. You should be fine with a 205. What kind of tries were you thinking of getting?

you guys realize that going wider, while it may give some more initial striaght line traction for the first half of first gear, it will cause more tire roll and your car will not handle as well right?

But yeah as far as rubbing 205 will be fine. I have a wider set of rims that have 205s and I never rub with an 1"+ drop.

True, but hardly noticeable.

I run 205/50 15's on my 99 GSR and they dont rub at all. Just make sure you switch from a 55 to a 50 to keep everything the same.

I think i am going to go with 205/50/15 Yokohama parada spec 2. They seem to get good reviews and the price is good. Any thoughts? THanks for all the help.

Woops.. just looked around for them. Doesn't seem like they make them in 15inch tires. Any other suggestions for tires. Or does anyone know where to get 15 inch yokos
