G3 Front Hubs on a G2

G3 Front Hubs on a G2
Is this possible? I am asking because I have the fastbrakes front 11" kit and the mounting hardware didn't line up right with the G2 hubs, but it does with the G3. I had to do some dremel action to get the kit on, but I would rather use the kit as provided.
