Default shift light ?

Im not a huge fan of aftermarket tachs, but i do want a shift light i found one from autometer, it says i just need to purchase the rpm pills, so it knows when to blink. Does anyone know how these work or have any experience with them?

The RPM pills plug into the light. I'm pretty sure you wire it the same way you do as a normal add-on tachometer. Is this going on a track car?

Yeah, like he said. The pills are 2 prong and look like fuses on steroids. They read various RPM engagements and you can get a set for about 27 bucks. The autometer has 3 wires. Red green and black. Red, power, black, ground and green remote.
