Default 90 Teg Stock Engine Swap

I have removed and replaced my old B18A with a used B18A, standard tranny, from the original engine. Everything is matching up good, except for the drive axles. They are about 1 inch off of where they need to be - more to the front of the vehicle. Any ideas?

did you re-check your mounts??? maybe something is broken, or not lining up?? Sounds a little like gremlins in the gear box to me. Keep trying and you will get it eventually.

Mounts are all new, as I was there, and easy to do at this point.
Funny thing, all is in line with the mount brackets on the body. Fits perfectly. Tighten the bolts and it all fits.
Got me baffled.
Actually have a 91 also, did the same extra swap,,,OE to Oe,,and no problems. Both 5 speeds. It's my sons. So he is coming over and we are dismantling his and taking some measurements. It's all that I know to do.
