i got a 93 integra lss and when i bought it the dome lights, clock and rear defrost didnt work dude said it was just a blown fuse now that my cars almost ready im trying to get everything back together and working but everytime i put in a new fuse for them it blows all other fuses/ things work fine i was told that supposedly the guy unbolted the under dash fuse panel and he lost some piece or some shit... an that all i had to do was space out the fuse panel from the kick panel and it would all work.... anyone ever heard of this or know how to fix????

those clips go straight to the wires so it seems unlikely that you have a short on the back of your box. i guess i would lossen the the bolts for the fuse panel and wiggle it around and see if you get rid of the ground. also, I'm not sure how the circuit is set up but getting a path to ground might be normal, the other end of the light bulb/whatever is attached to gorund.
I would unplug the switches/bulbs whatever you can and try it again. If it doesn't blow, start plugging things in until it does.

if it keeps blowing try using a fuse with more power... like a 20 in a 15 slot

this is a difficult problem to figure out. but one thing i can say is the problem is before the load (dome, clock). It is shorting before those accesories. Now the fuse blows because the battery voltage thats supposed to be used up looks for a ground and if it cant find any, your fuse is the weak link and thats why it always blows up. What you can do is basically get a diagram for the circuit that you have and find the wire common to the electrical circuit( dome, clock) then before those accesories, you need to find a cut in a wire thats touching the chasssis, or a bolt that was drilled in a wire which in turn shorts the wire to the ground. (most common). thats all i can tell you my friend. hope you find the culprit.

that is a terrible thing to do. This is what causes fires. You are on the right track with digging into the problem rather than trying to patch it up.

I kind of had a similar problem but it was that some douchebag at Midas decided to make a quick fix on my reverse light by melting a wire into the wiring harness and grounding it to the chassis. It was blowing a fuse every so often and taking out every single light in the cabin. Just replacing the wiring harness fixed it completely.
