Has anyone tried changing bulbs inside the gauge needles to make them brighter? The gauges in my 94 GSR are dim compared to my other cars. I don't want to go the indiglo route, but would like to make them brighter. And yes, I do have the brightness dial turned up all the way.

 

I thought i was goign to make custom needles the other day... i sanded off the red crap of the needles and place a blue bulb in the back... It looks nice at night with indiglo gages (might look better with stock black gages) but during the day you cant see it!!!lol (might be able to see it with stock black gages)

 

any thoughts on how one could turn the needles yellow like the Spoon clusters
