Default Half Radiator?

So for my LS/Turbo, I'm gonna need a half (Civic) radiator in this application. I got the turbo all mounted and it's all good for the most part, and I'm gonna get to keep my AC! Woo...lol

BUT, I need a Civic sized radiator. Should be easy to move the mounts to get it in, but I'm just curious if anyone has had to do this to fit a T3 and keep the AC?

Thanks

You can use the existing mount on the passenger side but you will have to have a new one welded in for the other side of the shorter radiator. Keeping AC is usually dependent on where the manifold ultimately places the downpipe and/or dumptube.

With my new setup, I should be able to retain my full size radiator and if I still had AC, it probably would fit as well. What manifold are you using again?

It's an older style BLOX mani, the DRAG one I had didn't fit at all Wastegate is between the 1 & 2 runners, not the best but I can upgrade later. As it fits right now, the turbo compressor outlet is about 1/4" from hitting my AC compressor...snug, but it does fit. The downpipe I bought is going to the muffler shop on Tuesday for some custom bending, I test fit it last night and it doesn't quite make the 90* turn it needs to to properly connect to the cat.

I'm starting to think my setup is backasswards from everyone else, my airfilter is gonna be crammed on the driver's side and the dp exits on passenger..is this odd?

That is pretty snug. Good luck getting a filter on the compressor inlet.

From the picture, it looks like you have enough room to run a full size radiator.

Yeah it looks a little deceiving, but as it sits the compressor housing is less than 1/2" from the AC radiator. It's all a very snug fit but I can get a filter on there with some wire relocation and a silicone elbow.

I'm thinking a I should have bought a GReddy kit rather than piecing my own together, but it's coming along slowly!

Yeah, I didn't see that the radiator was pulled out. Definitely looks like a half size radiator is required.

How are you going to route the dumptube? That looks like another challenge.

The 92-95 civic radiator out let sizes are smaller then the integra ones (I made this mistake).

Ok, I'm ordering a Del Sol radiator today. Routing the dumptube is going to be a piece of work, gah! I'm so tempted to get rid of everything I dont need and find a GReddy TD05, mani downpipe setup...
