My car started and then died. It sounded like it wasn't getting any gas. Then I started it and reved it and it stayed on and I drove it home. In the morning I tryed to start it and it only turned over and wouldnt fire. Can some please help I just bought this car 2 months ago. Im thinken mabye a fuel pump or filter but I'm not a mechanic. Oh yeah I should mention I ran very low on gas. I tryed adding a little more but still nothing. Its a 94 integra 2dr ls. Thanks

 

Start by checking the battery.

 

The starter is cranking, but the engine wont fire. The battery is ok. Last night I was banging around on canister looking thing next to the fire wall on the pasenger side and it fired up and drove it home. I thought i was messing with the fuel filter but after researching fuel filters I realized that wasnt a filter. Im also concidering that this might be a heat issue. The other day we were in the triple digets. when I opened the hood things might have cooled down and thats why it started. IDK please help.
