Default Radiator is leaking

My rad sprung a leak at the seams right at the top.
Is this fixable or will I need a new rad?

See attached pic.

Nope. Happened to my 98 ls, has a leak at the top of the radiator where the seal is. Had to get a new one. I remember paying like $300-$400 for the new radiator and labor. But that was at a dealer and about 4 yrs ago.

Don't have a shop install it, get one off Ebay or in the scrap yard in throw it in there, it won't take more than 45 minutes.

Personally I wouldn't get a used one (if that's why you're asking if all models are the same). Just get a new one, they're not expensive.

I have had a radiator re built before.

Some of these shops still exist. You could try to find one in your area. Thay can clean them out also.

Thanks. I've attempted a JB Weld fix which I'm hoping may work (very slim, I'm told). Otherwise I'll just pick up a new one.

I just put a new radiator in my car two weeks ago. I had
the same problem. Put it in yourself, it is not that hard. There is a good DIY
on the this website and if i remember right, all you need is a 10mm socket and a pair of pliers. I saved over $100 doing it myself.

Do you know if there is a difference between MT and AT rads?
My local shop has one for AT just wondering if it's the same?
