Tociko Shocks OOPSIE
I just installed my Tociko shocks the other day, and well.. I did everything but one thing right.. The top mount set of 2 rubber bushings to each shock.. I think I installed them upside down, due to the sound I am hearing in the back when I hit bumps.. Kinda clunky.. Well, I soon realized this, AFTER I installed them - when the ones under the hood were popped out from a short drive.. I have now lost the front ones, and the rears are securely out of place with my strut bar.. My question is..
Replacing the front ones.. will my stock bushings do the trick?
Either way, I have to take it all apart again to adjust my mistake.. UGH.. Freakin madness, 4 hours with no help, in the sun with ONE cheap ass jack.. Then this lol.. Each time, I learn something new tho

yes the OEM bushings and bump stops will work....but it's easier and more effecient to replace the upper mounts and such with a pillow ball from TEIN and other glorious suspension companies. when you work with dampers and springs you must replace the locking nut on the upper mount because it loses it's locking capability.
Sounds like something wasn't assembled properly.
I don't completely understand what you are referring to. Do you have a picture? Regardless, the OEM bushings should work fine.

I apologize for slacking on this post, but I will have some pics tonight. Basically, what I did was put both top and bottom side bushings on each shock upside down.. they supposed to look like <|> But I put them >|< if that makes sence at all.. the top ones came loose and flew off, the rear are probably loose in my trunk area..
