Default P28 with no IAB Controller Question

I spoke to a local tuner yesterday and I was told to leave the vacuum connected to the IAB when converting to a p28. Since the p28 does not have the IAB controller, should I unplug and cap the vacuum source off the IAB or just leave it plugged? I'm a bit confused because I am hearing different things.

You can have the P28 programmed to operate the IAB's. I would either get them working correctly or upgrade to a single stage manifold.

If you decide to keep them non-functional for whatever reason, just leave everything connected as usual.
