Default They are at it again!!

So for the 6th time, we have had our 2000 gsr broken into. These dumb#$%@! will not stop no matter what.we went out of our ways to club our car with 2 clubs. they loosened one up, the other they broke steering column trying to take off. they also busted these black chips inside ecu. does anyone know what the blk chips do? are they like the immobilizer controls or something? i prey to the heavens that some sort of a freakish accident will to happen to these guys. they have costed us a lot of money and stress. we have considered selling the car to get an rsx, but im sure they will then have some sort of vendetta against us and will want to steal that one too... our next step is the alarm. we hope that stops them, if it doesnt, we are saving up for lojack. so we can catch them like rats trying to eat up my bread. why do lazy under achievers want to try and ruin my life while taking away my freedom to live the way i want to live? %$#@ them!!

While it's a damn shame to have you come to us under these circumstances, it sounds like you're dealing with either:
a) a group of amateurs or
b) determined vandals.

Professional thieves would have made off with the car on the first try.

First off, the CLUB is a joke. A hacksaw through the steering wheel can defeat a Club in seconds, without damaging the steering column. The Autoloc is a better deterrent, but it's not infallible. There are tools available to repo-men that can defeat it as well.

Secondly, the 2000 and 2001 GSR have a resistor-coded key that talks to the ECU in order to start the car. Since it sounds like the thieves have demolished your ECU, that's going to be the most expensive bit to replace.

Again, a pro would have swapped in an ECU from an earlier model year GSR to defeat this feature once the ignition had been punched. I believe as a temporary solution, you could run a 1997-1999 GSR ECU, assuming the ignition switch is still functioning.

Also, do you have comprehensive insurance?
Did you have some sort of argument with some people...
Is there anyone who would vandalize your car to get back at you?

If you're near a city of any size, file a police report and request that the local PD make a few passes during the next few days. And if you're out in the boondocks, it's time to pick up a 12 gauge.

Default it's not any1 i know

thanks, since the purchase of the car, we have gotten it broken into. these guys are total amatures. im pretty sure its the same group. just some local gang bangers who steal and swap parts. i want to visit the local races, maybe ill get lucky and spot one of them. i know what they drove, i got a nice view on them about 3 times not including on the street, but i cant do anything because its not enough info for cops. they want more, so i wanna do my own detective work. well anyway not very usefull atall.. i should not be posting this atall.. so they never stole an00 integra, im pretty sure they didnt know about immobilizer. it took them months and several attempts to learn, i feel like an idiot for giving them the chance. i know that they have been following us because they attempted to steal it at my school parking lot. could not go around the ecu. it just says they really want it and im just keep allowing them to get it. we love the car. its a beauty. i know why they want it. I hope god punishes them because i cant, i would not risk everything i have for them unless i knew cops had my back. so right now the gsr is in a shop getting worked on. ecu is jacked, not to meantion they are costing us easily over 1k for all damages including deductable. its been affecting our personal life as well. i hate to post this up, everyone has problems and not every one wants to hear eachothers problems, i just feel i need feed back from people who have experienced this or something similar. i am going crazy. it seems like i see thier car everywhere, but i know its not always them, i also know that its a small world and people talk. im just speaking my mind, im not wrong. they are wrong..

If those stupid ass thieves would take half of the energy they put into trying to get your car and put it into getting a job and saving their own $$$ they could have had a GSR of their own by now.

What kind of property do you live on? Is there a garage? Can you pay extra for one? Can you invest in a mobile shelter? How about a dog in the yard? any chance at that? Does a neighbor have space in a garage that you can use? How about a shed? Got one of those?

These guys are obviously not pro's. Like Dave said. They would have made off w/it the 1st time if so. I think they are using your car for practice, and look after 6 tries they still suck at it. I think it is more of a determination for them this point so they don't feel defeated.

Do what my friend in Texas did....get a alarm and when you get it installed ask car stereo one or TAS electronics or whomever you take it to get installed by to route the alarm to your fuel pump as a cut off. if the alarm goes off or gets turned off without being turned off appropriately the power to the fuel pump gets cut off. and thus if they do manage to get your car running they won't make it past the stop sign down the road. then you can beat the crap out of them too! also when getting your alarm done....give the guys over at the electronic store a FALSE address. TRUST ME!!!! most guys who work at those places are shady and since they installed it they know how to deactivate it. and i've heard horror stories of them making copies of keys and stealing the cars to sell as parts in the black market. i abhor those peple so much!

Default no garage, sux butt!

so i still have not gotten my girls gsr out of the shop. i live in a big city so a 12 guage would def help a lot..lol unfortunatley if i jump out with a gun, they will come back with a lot more due to the fact they are gang bangers..i hate the big city.. sux butt. as far as alarm,a good friend of mine will be installing it so no worries not any shady stuff. im going to keep a close eye out once we get car back. i just hope they dont get mad that it has an alarm and then decide to break a window or something. we still gotta do alot of work on car like clutch and o2 sensor repair. sux cus these fukz are holding us back and costing us a lot of cash.. but yea, im still very open to suggestions. thanks for feed back guys..

Naw its like this...get a Glock .45 and a smith & wesson .38 special and call it a day. guarantee they won't bother you at all if you got the glock on your waist and the .38 around your ankle. And i live in a city a well, but people know i'm one hell of a crazy mofo around here. so they don't mess with me when it comes to my ride. in other news, on the installation of the alarm please have your friend route it to your fuel pump or battery or starter so it won't go anywhere. and consider a safety key for added security. also what i do since i have a full MSD ignition system. I pull the wire from my coil to my distributor cap when i feel that my car is threatened by some people around where i'm at. My friend, i'm terribly sorry to hear that your having problems with gun-toting-hip-ganster-wannabe's. But you have to stop playing on the defensive side and start getting on the offensive with these petty-theives. aight then?
