Default Thinking of doing the timing belt in my 99 GSR.

I am currently shopping for the parts and I cam across these 2 kits on ebay. One is Acura and the other is combo of Flennor, NPW, GMB & Bando. Anyone ever heard of these brands? Some feedback would be appreciated. Thanks guys!!!

All i have to say is that ever since i've bought a timing belt from Autozone (duralast $35) i've had all sorts of timing issues. I counted the teeths to make sure.

After buying oem, My car runs like tits.

OEM is the way to go. It can get them for you at a discount. PM me.

yep i agree. for something that u change only once in a blue moon...u might as well spend a few more $ for oem parts. i'd recommend buying form rockauto...reasonable prices even for oem parts.

The only reason why I looked at the Non-OEm was because it included drive belts for PS, alternator, AC etc. and I thought...hmmm let me ask the guys.

I need everything in the link for the OEM set, not just the belt. That's a deal and I cannot see it getting much better than that? What do you think?

Keep in mind that the kit posted doesn't include the tensioner pulley. I bought mine on ebay and was surprised when it arrived without the tensioner.

I would say OEM only, but thats just me...

For headaches and crap i went through just to save a few hundred bucks, I wish i went oem.

Cheap ac belt breaks = no a.c

cheap TB / Tensioner malfunction = Dead engine.

The tensioner doesn't always have to be swapped from what I hear. It can be tested for a load and if it still holds up to a certain degree it is still good.
