I have a 94 ls im having trouble getting it started sometimes. I have to press gas pedal to get the car started. After it starts up the idle stays at about 2,000 rpm. I taught it was the iacv i replaced it with a different one and still doin the same thing. please help.

 

Stupid question here, but have you checked your air filter lately?

 

i have aem intake the filter looks pretty clean

 

Hmm.. did the problem start immediately after the intake was installed?
Also, is your check engine light on?

 

the problem started about a month ago ive had the intake about a year. No engine light on. Someone told me it coul be my injectors could be leaking.

 

checked ur plugs?

 

check plugs and intake... tis my advice.

 

I dont know if the same rules apply. My old 1984 Porsche 944 had the same problem... It ended up being the fuel pump.

 

I found the problem!!!!!! coolant temp sensor.
