Default rear wiper removal question...

For the people that removed thier rear wiper....
what did you cover up the hole with? I just used the plastic peice that went over the nut. It looks okay, but i was wondering if there was a better way to cover up the hole.

Thanks Chase

I believe there is a rubber grommet you can buy for it, it might be a dealer item, but I forget. I think there was a thread on hondatech about it, try there.

there is hardware you can buy from the dealership but its really expensive so i improvised. go to lowes, home depot, ace, etc etc and pick up an "elevator bolt" it looks like a bolt with a large circular flat top that rests flush with the old grommet(not sure where i read about this, credit goes somewhere else though). Buy that, some washers and a nut that will fit. thats all i did, cost like 2 something rather than 30+ from the dealer. Oh, paint the bolt with some black rustoleum or something comparable.

IM me if you have any other questions. Granted this is the "ghetto" way of doing it but i have a hard time justifying paying a grip of money so i can remove functionality from my car.

Cheers,
Ryan
