i have a 90 integra hatch.
i would like to know if some knows why my integra spills the gas from the intake? i was driving the other day and i smelled unburned fuel then i drove it home parked on the driveway and then the car wouldnt start so i tried and tried so finally i gave up and then i saw a big spill it was coming our from my intake why is this happening?

 

From your INTAKE ??..

or your INTAKE AREA ?.. Or the INTAKE MANIFOLD ?.. Check your uhm.. fuel filter, I believe it is in that up front general area.. Check all the fuel involved lines in that area as well.. I have never heard of a gas coming thru the intake..

 

Maybe an injector stuck open or a fuel pressure regulator stuck closed.

What mods do you have? Did you just fill your tank?

You will probably have to change your plugs to get it to run again you with no doubt flooded you engine. Do you smoke your engine just turned into an anti smoking add.

 

well the intake manifold was flooded and after it got full it started leaking from my intake. i took all of the air intake and i alot of fuel on the intake manifold

 

Ok in stead of starting it you can just turn the key on this will kick the fuel pump on for 2 seconds (so you do not start a fire) keep doing this till you see the leak. If you can not see and external leak it is probably an injector stuck open.

 

ok took out all the injectors and one of them the tip was broken how did this happen also when i didnt knew what was going on i tried starting it and the engine kept on making small xplosion could this had damaged the engine?

 

Do not know how this happened the small explosions are just back firing probably did not damage anything. Where is the tip????? we need to find the tip, was it metallic or plastic.

ok replaced the fuel injector and since it was out of fuel i refiilled the tank. i tried to start the engine and i saw a big flame that came out of the body throtle kind like an explosion is my engine gone or what?

 

You need to check you ignition timing,cam timing and compression be for you condem the engine. It may just be back firing du to ignition timing off cam timing jumped or a burned intake valve. Do you have a CEL?


Its just a little plastic peace so your engine should be fine. Had it been metal........
