Default What size of bolts do i need

I went down to auto zone to look for magnet oil pan drain bolts, but all they carry are the 16mm not 17mm, would the 16mm bolts do the job ? What size of the bolts would fit for 00' teg?

17mm is what you need.

I guess it depends more on the thread and the size of the bolt itself, rather than end of the bolt itself.

I'm not sure of the exact size of the bolt. Helms doesnt tell me.
It's a 17mm tho.

It doesnt matter the head size as long as the pitch is right. 1.5 maybe? I dont remember, but the little book @ Pep Boys should tell you which part # is right for your car.

I think the magnetic plug I got from PB was 15 or 16mm?

Check it out...

At the Autozone, there will be a little book in the aisle. All she has to do is look up your car, and match the part # to the plug on the shelf. It wont matter the size of the head, it will be the same as whatever I have. The part # in the book is the right part. It will say:

ACURA INTEGRA 94-01.....Magnetic.... Standard (and a few others)
.................................... xxxx ....... xxxxx
With you on the phone, the task shouldnt be too difficult

by the way, AutoZone said 16mm is the only one they carry
so i figure just ask her to go ge that one..
The AutoZone donw in St. Louis doens't know anything..
they said they thought it's universal and rarely sold one Magnetic drain bolt.

Thanks bro
