YS1 tranny
i have a YS1 tranny that i bought fully rebuilt but i donot know which year integra it came out of the person who sold me it told me it came out of a 4door DA integra is there a way to find out which one it is so i can get a clutch kit for it
There are 2 type's of YS1's there's the LS/GS/RS YS1 which is long geared.
Then there is a 92-93 GSR YS1 which is short geared... I dont know how you can check until it's installed... And yea you can get a clutch kit fo it it, they are pretty much universal...

he did say it came out of a 4 door but it is not a GSR. but one of my friends was telling me that the input shafts on some of the DA integras are different sizes the 90-91 is one size and the 92-93 is a different size is this so?
92-93 YS1 & Hydro B-series = Same clutch disk
90-91 & B series cable tranny = Same clutch disk
Huh... Strange.
I have a 92-93 GSR YS1 in my Integra Sedan (came with the car, it was previously modified then returned to stock leaving afew things).
I took it to a shop to have the clutch replaced and the clutch they ordered from the dealers (90-91 integra) fit.
