i just bought a 99 LS with a 100k. It looks really clean and well maintained.
i am having the timing belt replaced. what else do i need to do make it to 200k. One other dumb question. when i open the trunk, i noticed that there is a button. i can't figure out what it does and i can't find it in the manual.

 

Do you know if the timing belt was already replaced prior to you taking delivery? Acura recommends that change at 105k for 99's FYI so you have a little leeway. To make it to 200k you should do a basic tune up and change the oil every 3k. Along the way fix anything that might go wrong that way it does not lead to bigger problems. I'd have the brakes inspected as well. The button is the trunk is to never be pushed so don't do it, you'll be sorry. J/K what button? Welcome to HAN.

When you decide to replace your timing belt do the water pump and tensioners also.. and when you buy your parts, make sure they are not cheap duralast/valuecraft parts.
Just do your preventative maintenance and you should go 200k+
