Default 5 Lug Conversion!!??

Got a quick question. i drive a 4 lug 1994 teg ls and i am putting a type r engine in my car. does anybody know if i have to change my 4 lug teg to a 5 lug since the type r is 5 lug?? thanks

im pretty sure you dont. i've seen alot of civics and tegs with type r engines withouth the 5 lugs. :dunno:

As far as I'm concerned, the type-R engine has nothing to do with the # of lugs. Reason why a lot of people end up doing this is for the full "Type-R conversion" look or whatever that's called.

yeah the engine has nothing to do with how many lugs on the car.
