Default gsr turbo problems

my setup is a 95 gsr with an 18g greddy turbo kit rc440's walbro255, aem furl rail and fpr, chipped ecu, vafc2 and maybe other little odds and ends. i was running fine yesterday and when i shut my car off everything was fine, but when i started it back up it was idling really liw like between 400 and 500. i tried revving the motor and it takes really long to rev like it has no power. does anyone have any suggestions.

Why are you running a chipped ECU and VAFC? Get it tuned properly.

got a new ecu and that didnt fix it, vafc is only being used for monitoring, could valves be bent???? did a compression test and it's only reading 110 on all cylnders

It isn't a bent valve, otherwise it wouldn't run at all.

Are you sure that you are doing the compression test right? If those are in fact the real numbers, your engine needs to be rebuilt desperately. I am surprised it even runs.

Was it ever tuned properly on a dyno or on the street?

That sounds like a really bad tuning job! you bought a chipped ecu, was it a pre-tuned ecu:nono: ? what program is the ecu running??? you may not be getting accurate monitoring by using the vafc either!

it was a used ecu from my friends car that had a b16 turbo in it. i have the same turbo kit off the car the ecu came from. it ran fine for almost a month then just crapped on me. it was street tuned but i dont know the details on that. the ecu is chipped with chrome. does anyone know where i should start???

You do know that no two setups are identical, right? Different engines have different fueling and ignition requirements.

I would start by determining the cause of the low compression readings, which sounds to me like blown piston rings or ringlands. Whatever the problem, it needs to be fixed. Then, find a tuner that knows Crome and have him tune it to your setup.
