Default 98 LS Blues

I have a 98 LS auto w/ AEM intake and Megan racin 4-2-1 racing header and obx cat back. I am thinking of adding a fuel rail with bigger injectors and adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a vafc controller. I have a set of 380 injectors and the pressure regulator already. I am also adding AEM true time cam gears when i have all the parts together. I plan to add stage 2 cams and springs and retainers later. I have been told this will be overkill on the fuel and will make it run rough. Wont the vafc compesnate for the difference in injector size? Should i wait and get the cams and springs as well as the rest tof the parts?

Why are you doing all this to an auto? I know everyone says the auto transmission cant hold up to alot more power than the stock out put. You might want to consider selling your car for a 5 speed or doing an auto to manual swap. If you still have the stock parts i would put the car back to stock and put all your aftermarket parts on a 5 speed teg.

You're wasting money on stuff you're trying to put in. Why do you need larger injectors? You don't have anything on that car that would require more fuel. If you want to spend money on a ls/auto, spend it on suspension.

the only logical upgrade would be to the suspension. You're just wasting your money otherwise :happysad:

There is no need to upgrade a fuel rail in a street honda car (is there??), they're more sufficient than you may think, don't waste your money there. As far as the rest of the upgrades, the guys are right. You can't really extract power out of an Integra with a stock auto tranny. Just make it fun to drive.

Either way, I have all those bolt-ons on my GSR, as do many of us, with the exception of stage 2 cams, and yet, there is still no need to upgrade my fuel system.

I wonder, what are you trying to accomplish by adding all this to your car, I mean, what is your goal? You can add as many bolt-ons as you want, but whats the point if you can't put the added power down to the ground with automatic tranny?

again, forget the injectors, the regulator, and the VAFC

you have installed nothing that would require you messing with your fuel, or require you to need a larger fuel input.

it would be an absolute waste of money, sell those parts you already have, and start working on that suspension, thats where i would dump the money. That automatic transmission is going to severely hamper your ability to add power to the car
