help please! gsr wont start randomly

Default help please! gsr wont start randomly

my 01 gsr wont start randomly like one day i go to start it and it just canks and cranks but wont start but then like 15 minutes later it will, this usually happens when it sit for awhile but sometimes not but the thing is it always eventually starts and i have replaced cap and rotor, spark plugs, ignitor, coil, main relay and it still does it so im thinking somethin with the fuel? anybody heard of this happening before?

sounds like the fuel pump regulator has a short or a loose wire.happened to me with my 97

you mean the fuel pressure regulator?

oh yes! Acura figured out the problem!!!! It was the immobilizer in the ignition, it was sending the wrong signals, 2001 was the first year they put the immobilizer in the ignition to prevent theft so thanks for all the input

Actually no, it began with the 2000 model. Only the 00-01 model tegs have the immobilizer control unit in the ignition with the ecu OBD II-B.
