Default Idle air control valve?

Ok so i have read that when the idle is alittle off it could be due to a dirty IACV. I wanted to take mine off and clean it. My question is, is it 1 or 2? Or is it not in the pic?

1 is your TPS (Throttle Position Sensor)
2 is your MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor)

The IACV is located directly behind #1 in your pic. Its on the rear of the intake manifold, bolts facing the fire wall.

Take the screen and gasket out, spray with plenty of carb & choke cleaner, or brake parts cleaner. Let it dry, and replace. Remove the gasket first though.

That will work fine, use a scribe or some sort of pointy object to remove the screen and gasket. Just be sure not to damage it in the process, good luck!

Shake it dry, and leave it set long enough for the cleaner to evaporate. Probably an hour or so.

When you replace the IACV, tighten the bolts back and fourth slowly to help seal the gasket better.

Well i put it back on and started my car. It died so i started it again and it died. I forgot to plug the wire back into it, plugged it in. So when i started it, it didn't run that good. Thought i would let it warm up and see if that would help. It runs fine until i touch the gas then it drops to about 50 rpm. Then it will slowly clime back up to 1,000 rpm until i hit the gas again. I thought maybe it wasn't dry so i unhooked it and plain on fixing it tomorrow. I was going to get the air compressor out and make sure its dry. Other then that i don't know what would be wrong. The cel light came on when i didn't have the wire plugged in. Thinking maybe reset the ecu see if that will help. I'll post tomorrow and let you know if i can fix it.
