Default LS shocks/springs on GS-R?

Shocks on my ('95) GS-R are shot. I have some low mileage ('01) LS shocks and springs. Should I:

1) Put the LS shocks on with the GS-R springs?
or
2) Put the LS shocks on with the LS springs?

Rear springs are the same in LS and GS-R but shocks and front springs all have different #s and likely different damping rates, I have OEM anti-sway bars and will be replacing all the worn/torn bushings with ES. This is just a driver.

Thanks!

The spring rates are the same and everything is interchangeable.

Cool thanks, saved me a little time experimenting. Hmm, just remembered... don't the color splotches on the springs relate to the spring rate?

edit: or is that just for left/right coding?
