Do you suggest timing belt DIY?

Are you sure it was me? I vaguely remember. h:

I would still have it changed at 90k if the recommended interval were 105k. I am very paranoid about timing belts. When I first got my car, I made sure the timing belt was changed regardless of how good condition it was in. You really never know when a belt is going to let go. :hs:

Yeah it was you, but I stand corrected it was not at a meet. It was when I bought the struts from you and we met up and then shot the shit for a bit. I'm paranoid about smog like you are belts. Rule of thumb follows though, 105k on my car is the safe interval. It may be able to go to 110k, but why chance that. My brothers car went to 109k before he changed his. I don't recommend that. He only changed his because I told him he should. He is not car savvy and so he was not even thinking of it until I brought it to his attention.

I wouldn't go much past 90k from experience...but do what you guys want.
