Default omg big vtech problem

OK guys im new to the forums and to driving but i was told i can come here if i have any questions. i just bought my first car a 1994 acura integra gsr with vtech. im having a few problems my vtech is coming in but i am not receiving the whiplash affect that i was promised when i bought this car all i get is a "BAAAAAAA" noise after 4000 rpm. the vtech just wont throw me back to the seat like i was hoping. im happy with the 7000 rpm redline its crazy how high a vtech car can go. well please help me with what could be wrong im so confused i payed 8000$ for this car and i just want it to work

Here we go... first off its V-tec not v-tech, also it is not ment to give you a jolt when it kicks in. V-tec is proramed to kick in to make the smoothes possible torque (sp?) curve. You need to do a lot more reshearch.

but my engine valve cover clearly says Vtech u sure its spelled vtec?i will try and have some pictures up as soon as possible. but i was told that "vtec" is suppose to throw you back. mine is just a noise that is like "BAAAA" and hard to here.

that is not true, my friend had a civic type r vtech and his car was hella fast. everytime he cranked vtech, my head flew back to the seat, and i can barely sit up. but his car was not stock. and it was only a single cam. he had HELLA VTACK! so i have some questions..... if your car stock??? also, you need to upgrade to 1.5 inch exhaust, and take off your intake.. run open intake manifold for more air. you should see an improvement.

IMHO, here's what I think:

1) It's vtec not vtech
2) Your car has about 170 bhp, not sure why you assume your car has a turbo of some sort where you will feel this "vtec" since you're not really gonna feel it. You need to do some research if you're really asking this question.
3) $8000 for 94 gsr is way too much.
4) Please stop with your bs cause your valve cover doesn't say "v-tech", when you really have a honest question, then post.
