Your alternator might be crapping out on ya. Try and have that checked, I went to sears and they can put a load on it and it'll tell you if it's faulty or not without having to remove it from the car. If it is, just go to a parts store and get a new one, return your old one and might get a few $ back.

Welcome to HAN.

Could possibly be a weak starter. Autozone and Advanced can usually check your battery, alternator, and starter without removing anything from the vehicle. its usually a free also.

True forgot about that.

Usually when you try to start the car you'll just hear a "click" and nothing else. Most likely that's a faulty starter.

An alternator, it's possible if it's failing or malfunctioning. A starter, no since it's only used initially to "start" your engine. If the starter were to fail, it would be when you first try to start the car and not while it's running. And yes they can work/not work from time to time but as time progresses it'll get worse and worse til one day you won't be able to start it all.

if it sits for a while like a few days to a week you just need to give it some gas while starting it. i went out of town on business one week, came back and my car wouldnt start. it just happens when the car sits for a bit. make sure you turn the key but dont crank, let the fuel pump get a head start
