Does anyone know how much ground clearance I would have with the jdm oem 4-1 type r header on a 92 DA? I had clearance issues with aftermarket jdm 4-1 header with 2.5 inch collector.My exhaust system is already modified to run this header. All I want to know is, how much of a clearance difference does it make with the staggered tubing? Any pros and cons on the replica 4-1 jdm type r header.

 

it's not going to be much better. most 4-1's hang low. if you're worried, fastline makes a skidplate that bolts to the bottom of the jdm itr header.

I believe toda and smsp 4-2-1 have great ground clearance.

 

I don't need to lift my car, this issue only occurs with the 4-1 header.

 

This wasn't a thread about my ride height, which is not the problem.
