If you're going turbo later just don't bother. Turbo, then exhaust.



Too many people say they're going turbo then keep buying random shit and thus can never afford the turbo.

Well... the only exhaust piece i would replace would be my exhaust header. And you cant run a turbo with the stock exhaust. My questions are what is the stock ls size exhaust and do you think there will be any gains over the stock header with one that only opens up to a 2 inch outlet?

the stock ls exhaust size is almost irrelevant. the relevant question is the donut gasket that goes b/n the cat and header if that is indeed a proper header for your motor. Old size means diddly it's a matter of the cat, donut gasket and new header matching up and sealing. Now as for gains, they will be minimal(but noticable)and if i'm not mistaken in the midrange area(don't quote that though)
