ITR struts
I am having an issue with my stock struts. When i travel at speeds above 80mph and decide to brake hard (reasonable but harder than usual) it feels as if the rear end is picking up. I almost killed myself when i braked hard enough for the rear end lose control. It was freaky having a Frontwheel drive fishtailing. I have tein s.techs on stock struts. Will upgrading the struts help with this problem. I have this problem when braking in a hard turn, also. It feels very sluggish. Suggestions on struts would be helpful.
The back end should not lift like that during braking. Do the struts bounce at all as if they are blown? There are lots of strut options out there. I loved my KYB AGX adjustable shocks when I had my Integra, and Koni Yellows are also a good choice. I've had bad experiences with Tokico, so I'd stay away from them. Stiffer front springs would help too, as the nose wouldn't dive as much under braking.
Also, why are you braking mid-turn? That's asking for trouble.

My braking issue isn't mid-turn. Its upon entrance of the turn. When driving my other ITR with the same setup it seems less inclined to lose traction in the rear end. My concern with turning is a result in the instability of my rear end while heavy braking in a straight line. The car has a similar feel of when i lost control of my rear end. I was lucky the first time i lost control, and i'd rather not have it happen again.
