Default Filling MTF

Ok, so I've been looking for where to add MTF for a little while now, and everybody is saying something different. One guy said it's a little black cap on the front of the transmission under some hoses, right to the left of the engine, some places say it's a little above the drain plug, etc. Can anyone please confirm any of this?

Some people remove the speed sensor and use that hole to fill. Some people remove the little black cap off the spigot on the top of the tranny and others will pump in the fluid from underneath into the filler hole.

According the the Helms, the proper way to do it is to use the filler hole above the drain plug on the bottom of the tranny and pump it in.

Personally, I take the cap off the spigot on top and fill it up there.

Any method will work, but I advise against the speed sensor as people have been known to break them or lose the little speedo gear when removing it.

i always used the speed sensor, but yes, i broke the little tab that the bolt goes through because i over torqued the bolt.

I use the designated filler hole with a hand pump for an oil bottle...can be found for 2-3$ at any autoparts store.

Ah shit, after simply going to check my oil today, I found out there's no bolt where the filler whole is. Put in a quart and didn't do much, significantly helped the transmission and shifted like butter but god damn that pisses me off. This car has been a nightmare since day 1.

In a manual tranny Integra or Civic, the filler hole is above the passenger driveaxle, and the drain bolt is below the passenger driveaxle.

To fill, I use a funnel with a long hose. Slowly pour tranny fluid in till the fluid flows out of the filler hole. A tranny takes 2 quarts. I always use Honda manual tranny fluid.
