give me a break dude. you painted your car **** pink, and did half ass mods. just cause you won ****in' shows doesn't mean the car is worth a ****. compare your pepto bismol ride to any show car done completely and cleanly you'll see who gets more respect.
i'd be a lot easier to admit you have a half ass show car. which 90% of the public thinks is ugly as ****.
i doubt you did any of the work yourself too... check book competitor huh...

explain to me what yoo are trying to prove....
you can compare whatever yoo want.....its not as if i have been winning back alley shows or anything....ive compete all across the country and have over a 90% win/place percentage.....i dont have to say anything; the trophies with the names of the big shows say it all. the only thing that i would ever concede is that the car is not comparable to the best out in california, but thats a given to 80% of the country.
you can say what yoo want, but there is no taking away from the facts.....ive won shows across the country, been in magazines, have had sponsors throw product at me, have a multitude of people ask me for my advice and help with building cars, and so on....all these things are a product of a successful show car.
keep on with you insults; its obvious that that is all you have, really.... numbers and success dont lie.
and fyi, everything on the car was done by me except for the actualy body work and paint and the reupholstering of the interior....respectable enough, considering that most people really dont know whow to do that type of stuff.....

Having a show car win shows means jack ****. All that matters at a show is how many mods you have. Not well you executed your modification or how good your car looks. Just the # of mods. Don't give me your stupid I win shows crap. I've seen judges look at cars. They hardly look at them. If you got your car painted at maaco and won a show does that mean you got a great paint job? Hell no. Judges look at your car for a few minutes, and I've seen judges look at cars for a few minutes and move on. I'm sure your paint didn't come out perfect. They don't look at how the car is appealing to the eye. They have their little **** does this car have interior stuff done. That's why fools with apc metal lookalike floor mats, and chrome fire extinguishers get points cause they do have mods done to the interior. WE all bash those cars for how cheesey they look; why the **** would I give you any props when you ahve white seats and a pink roll bar, but then a black dash. Get off your high horse. You for one can't pull out your dash, hell you can't even type in the word "you" correctly. You didn't paint your engine bay pink. Why? Cause you can't pull the motor out on your own, or are too cheap to have the labor done. I'm not sure if you did the doors, but I'm almost positive you had that **** painted.
Get your "i win shows bull****" out of here.
Go ask Accord Sir, about shows, he used to do tons of shows. Chromed out H22 swap, paint, real JDM headlights, real Mugen front bumper. **** was done right. Last time I talked to him about shows. He said he got 1 throphy.
So now why should I look at your car, and give you props? Props on making a ugly ass show car.
It's rather funny how you said you did all the work yourself except for "body work and paint and the reupholstering of the interior". What the **** is left? Puttin on your intake, and mounting your wheels?
Your car isn't a show piece, it's just a piece.

yoo let your personal opinion color what is subjective. just b/c my car doesnt look good, doesnt mean that youre right. there are other people on here that think that my cat looks nice....what then? unless your opinion is worth more than theirs, yoo are at a stalemate, arent yoo?
so i dont have my engine bay painted......we can look at every import mag and look at their feature cars......a good 50% or better dont have their engine bays painted to mateh the exterior either.....but thats irrelevant to the whole deal....
your flaw in your argment is that yoo are contending that what yoo think is what is correct.....i am coming back with the fact that i have actual metrics to back up results.....its like saying that a certain team sucks.....but when that team is winning games, what can yoo really say then? i am like a team that is winning games and yoo are saying that the only reason that i am winning is b/c the rules suck.....yoo cant bend facts to suit your argument.
as well, yoo argue a fallacy when yoo talk about shows....yoo contend that all shows are not judged well and do not follow YOUR criteria for what is correct and successful.....do yoo see where yoo arent making sense here? thats fine...ive come to expect it from yoo....
if yoo look at all of your posts towards me, they consist of your saying that yoo dont think that my car looks nice, mix in a personal insult, and bend some facts.....not gonna fly, buddy.....
lets weigh the facts:
-i have won shows, a lot, at that. major ones, across the country.
-i have had manufacturers give me product and have asked me to represent their company, not just with my car, but also as a spokesperson.
-magazine photographers chose to take pics of my car and their editors have chosen those pictures to appear in them
-enthusiasts and customers comsult me as to my opinion as to how to build cars.
-show promoters call me to bring my car to different venues b.c they have heard that i have a nice car.
-numerous people called me and shoed interest when my car was for sale, and in turn, was sold.
now lets see what yoo have:
-yoo have an incorrect opinion on how shows are judged, which yoo skew to fit your argument as to why i win shows.
-yoo totally twist the argument as to what success is defined by......as a parallel, race cars are meant to win races.....therefore, if a race car wins races, and an event, it is considered effective and successful......now switch "race" with "show" and its remains true......
want to know how i know i am right?
-i have a trophy shelf with all my awards.
-i have numerous memories of people flagging me down to tell me how much they like my car....even moreso, countless numbers of board members from this and other boards have approached me when they have seen my car to tell me that they like it.....
-etc.....
now, logically, compare all that to the fact that your argument is grounded on hate and the intangible......i think that i know where ill place my chips.....thank yoo....

I think you really have to give props to yoolykeme for his originality. I had never ever ever seen or even heard of a pink teg, much less a pink honda, before I ran into yoolykeme's teggie on this board a year or two ago (maybe even longer?) You can nitpick all you want about how "incomplete" his car is, but you really can't deny the fact that he's won a truckload of trophies. As inconsistent as the "show" scene may be, a trophy is a trophy. A win is a win. And no matter how many other show queens sport a pink paintjob, yoolykeme's car will always be remembered. If that doesn't fulfill the desires of a show car, then I'm not sure what does.
