Default awd integra

i know this question has been asked alot but i did a search and i havnt found what im looking for. i know that you can swap a b20 from a honda crv suv into a acura integra or a civic hatch but can u swap say the axels and the awd parts to make it all wheel drive?

you can. but the end result will not be worth the money dumped into it.

You have to realize that the AWD system used in the CRV is not engineered or suitable for high horsepower applications.

The rear diff is wimpy and the axles are pencil thin.
Also the system is heavily FWD biased.

Frankly, it's not worth your time or money.

i get what your saying there but is there a aftermarket axel or anything that i could use with the crv parts to help id just like to acheive a awd integra with decent hp like 300's?

no. not to my knowledge. if you want awd + 300hp get a STi. then your going to have something thats reliable and easy to repair or have repaired as compared to a hacked up teg with a crv drivetrain. and you prolly will spend less on a decent used STi than what the fab costs would be for a AWD teg.

All the extra weight and drivetrain power loss will probably end up hurting you more than the extra traction you will gain.

No. There are no aftermarket transfer cases or axels or rear diffs for the CR-V.

Also, you can get 300whp to work in a front-wheel drive configuration.
It won't be as elegant as a Jag JKR, but it will hook up and get moving.
There are plenty of turbocharged Integra GSRs which have proven this point.

In the late 80's they made AWD civics. Maybe look into parts from that.
