door panel insert problems

Default door panel insert problems

i recently bought door panel inserts for my 94 teg but when i take the panels off it doesnt unscrew in the back. does anyone have any advice on making it work, possibly cutting and fiberglassing it back to the panel? i dont have a clue somebody help....

yeah same thing except for the 94-97 models if you look on the inside of the panels its all fiberglass

If I remember correctly, one of the members on another forum just put the door latch/surround back on and that kept it on there tight. I'll have to find that thread because it was a work in progress...
