Default Performance ? On A Type R

What's going on everyone. I was on a site can't remember which, but they were talking about the R's performance, options etc.
I was just trying to see something & figured one of you guys might know.
The 97 had no a/c .0-60 7sec. 1/4 15.3, 98 0-60 7sec 1/4 15.5, 00 -01 0-60 6,2 sec & 1/4 14.8. Keep in mind all USDM & if I remember 00 & 01 had a/c.
So I was wondering since all 4 yrs had same hp & torque how come the last 2 yrs were faster.
Thanks

I believe the higher final drive gear is what makes the difference. Maybe this page will help: http://www.superhonda.com/tech/DC2Ty...omparison.html

all usdm itr's had the same gear ratios. there are so many variables when it comes to testing acceleration times i wouldnt be too worried about them.
