What do the abbreviations stand for? Can I fix them myself?
Exhaust Gas Recirculation....some emissions BS...Andrew listed what it actually does on here
Basically it warms the engine up quicker, it gets clogged over time and causes, weak rev, low idle.
When was the last time you replaced
Plugs
Wires
Cap and Rotor

So far I'm getting it could be a basic tune up, EGR valve, or a dirty air filter?
WTF is an EGR valve btw?? lol

Just about a year ago now.
I was actually planning to get a cap &rotor ASAP.. those look a little corroded (sp?)

all you need to know is its a crucial part of your emissions system that if faulty will decrease performance, kill fuel mileage and basically can make your car run like absolute shit.

You can have your EGR valve cleaned but I doubt that's the culprit...I've never known of B-Series to really have problems with those.
Dirty fuel filter could be a possibility too.

I'm also wondering where this thing is, 186k and I haven't even looked at it yet.
