Welcome to the board.

A low 14-second 1/4 mile is certainly doable with a 75-shot of nitrous oxide and the usual bolt-on mods.

But for a daily-driven application, turbocharging will have more growth potential.

Can you give us a monetary figure... are we talking $500, $1500.. $5000 ?

Thanks its a pleasure to be here. I have $800 now but am not in too big of a hurry (kinda see this as my summer project) but this will be daily driven.

try simple and free stuff first like removing excess weight in the car. spare tire, jack, etc. remove ps and ac if you can live without them.

Well... assuming that:
a) CA smog law compliance isn't an issue and
b) you're not scared off by research and
c) your stock motor is in good shape (compression and leakdown)

... start looking into homebrew turbocharging solutions.
For about $3000, you should be able to cobble together the requisite parts.

And I shouldn't have to mention this... but ignore those eBay "electric superchargers"... they're an absolute fallacy like the Tornado. :shake:

The car has 86,000 and is near perfect condition, the car does not have a/c or the p/s both were removed by the previous owner.

ok people are telling me to gut the car, and along with i/h/e the car will be low 15s. Is that even close to the results i would get with that setup?

gut the car, work on the suspension, get sticky tires and lightweight wheels. hit up the track and see what you have to start with.

Well two things happened today. I was off work today so i decided to finish gutting the teg, then went down to the track. The best run i had was 15.8. But more importantly i picked up a t25 turbo off one of the crew members for 200 bucks. hopefully i can get ahold of a digi and post some pics of the project soon.
