Hey guys this is what my friend told me when i said i was going to get a DC Header. You don't even need to get a carb except one, because most newer cars come with a regular header Accord, etc etc and those are just regular headers not carb except so just buy a header that will work from a decent brand. Is this true or complete BS? I mean what kind of header do they put on accords and other newer cars (Stock) are they carb except?

 

stock exhaust manifolds dont have to worry about being carb exempt because they are oem equipment. i doubt one from a newer car will fit your b18b. besides, stock manifolds are heavy cast iron pieces. if you're looking for a header, since you live in ca get a carb approved header.
