If you run a Hondata or something of the sort and large injectors, the stock pump will be more than adequate. If you are running an FMU, get a walbro high pressure 255lph pump...but I would ditch the FMU altogether.

I put in a 255 and I can hear it now, especially when my tank starts getting low, is that normal?

I always hear my fuel pump right before the last turn to start the car, stock or aftermarket (had both) :hsdunno:

Maybe you didn't notice it before.

Aftermarket pumps will always have a pump whine more noticeable than stock.
