Default Brake light plz help

i have a 95 Gsr my back right break light stays on even when the car is off and the lights are off. but the back left is working fine.i have changed the bulb and it dosnt help. does any1 know why???

Default brake light problem

my back right breaklight stays on even when the car and lights are off. i have replaced the bulb it didnt fix it.

You probalby have a faulty relay. Brake lights and headlights still turn on even when a car is off completely. For some reason your brake light thinks your stepping on the pedal to enagage the transmission of a signal in-order to turn the light on. If the relay is bad or going bad the particular channel associated with that brake light may not be working and so as a result you have constant voltage running to it.

Welcome to the board.
Please do not create duplicate threads about one issue.

I also would also bet on a faulty relay.
Check the relay box in the engine compartment.. it's tucked up near the battery behind the passenger side shock tower.

sry about the double thread. so if i replace the relay it should fix the problem?

Most likely, but you don't want to spend money and it not be the problem, so if you know someone w/a honda, swap the relay right quick and see if that fixes the problem. Most honda relays are interchangeable for the most part.
