Default AEM cold air intake installation question

Hey I just got my AEM CAI and I installed it today, there are 2 hoses that come with it, I was confused with the directions, the only thing I could figure is that one hose connected to the metal hose that was previously in the old intake and then you connect that to the hole in the CAI but I don't under stand where the "breather" hose is supposed to go. Can anyone help me, right now I only have 1 hose on, pictures would help.

There should be a "breather" hose and a "water bypass" hose. The breather hose connects from the valve cover to the intake tube, and the water bypass connects from the throttlebody to the forward side of the engine. Hope that helps.

ok that makes sence, I think, so what about the hose that goes from the radiator area onto that metal piece, where the water bypass and breather hose go on to originally? what happens if you leave that metal intersecto piece on and just connect it to the intake?

If you leave the metal piece connecting the 2 parts of the water bypass hose? Nothing. But if you look at where the water bypass hose is coming from and going to, you can easily remove it and use a longer hose thats all 1 piece and get rid of the matal connector... and then just run a hose from the valve cover to the intake...
