Default drain plug

hi i have a bit of a problem my drain plug bolt is stripped because it just keeps on turning. So i tryed to drop thet oil pan but i unscrew all of the screws and the right side wont come fully down the one that is under the car any one no why?

you have to remove the black cover thats on the tranny, did you take your Exhaust manifold off too?

I took off the two silver things with three bolts are those the tranny braces?

They are called engine stiffeners and you have to remove them so you can remove the flywheel cover to access the last three nuts holding the pan on.

ohh ok so i have to remove the flywheel cover? is that the black thing with the 3 bolts? sorry so many questions still learning

I hope this helps but,
1. remove your header
2. There are two black bracers (stiffers schmoo calls them, three bolts each) you need to remove those located to left (reference picture).
4. Then remove the flywheel cover (thin black sheet of metal w/ a few 10mm bolts I believe).
5. screw driver to pray off the oil pan (assuming you remove all the 10mm bolts since after you remove the flywheel cover, you un-cover 4 more 10mm bolts hold the oil pan on.

Here's a picture from my turbo install when i took off the oil pan.

Hi guys thanks alot for the replys but i dont get were the black things are the only things I removed were 2 silver bars one had 3 bolts and the other had 2

this is what the flywheel cover looks like, Its held on by 2 17mm bolts, 2 10mm bolts and 2 12mm bolts. This if for a Integra i dont know what car you have so it might be a little different
