Is all your driving stop-n-go or short trips?

My mileage took a hit when I moved down to the Valley because all my trips grew shorter and in many cases, slower. :hs:

However, if you're spending all your time at 55+ mph and getting 21 mpg, that's a different story. h:

I'm getting about 20 with 184,xxx miles. I usually drive short distances and make short trips most of the time.

ok yeah that makes sense... most of my trips are under 10 miles... So this should be normal then?

Not bad if you do city driving/freway driving.. If you do all freway then theirs a probelm. But mostly it sounds right..

Things you can do to improve gas milage:

Check spark plugs
Check Alinment
Try to drive 65-70 on freway i read somewhere if you drive even 75 that makes a BIG difference as far as gas milage..
Check tires
Try to drive where you dont do jump starts, (Eats gas like crazy then you do that) Also avoid breaking to hard.
thats pretty much it

I do a mix of both as well and I cruise the freeway at 75-80, but I still get about 26-28 mpg in my LS. 21mpg sounds kinda low for some highway driving.
