Default it's all coming along

Well I just got some Dual springs and tit retainers. Skunk2 valves and umm these pitons.

I might be forced to use my stock rods due to the slight problem with $$ . But anyways I wanna get about 250-275ish outta this setup and I think it's obtainable. What cams do you guys think I should go with? I was thinking buddyclub spec 2-3. Injetors I was gonna buy 310cc Should I just go a bit higher and save myself the trouble. Talk to me guys. I pretty much know what I want anyways but would love to get other peoples opinion. Thanks

crank or wheel hp? 250bhp would roughly be 210whp which isnt easy to get but possible. but 250whp would be damn near impossible on the stock bore.

are those pcts?

There type Civic Type R pistons. What do you think is a realistic # to shot for with this set up.

Ls bottom CTR pistons
Port polish on the head
Skunk 2 valve,springs,retaners
310cc injectors
For starters gsr cams
FPR
ACT Clutch
DC Headers
Intake

Talk to me. Snoop!

with gsr cams and that header, maybe 180-190whp.

with bigger cams like rm m22x and a decent flowing header like a rage and matching exhaust, 200whp is within easy reach. provided you have a good tune. and i hope you have access to nothing short of 93 octane otherwise that compression is going to make your engine ping like crazy. i would have used p30's or itr's for a more manageable cr.

JDM CIVIC TYPE R CTR B16B ENGINE KIT PISTONS is the name of the aution you can pull it up on ebay. The auction was pretty cheap so I figured WTH. I want reliability above anything. So you don't think the BC Spec 2-3 are good? 93 oct is Everywhere around here.

you want bigger cams than bc 2-3's with the compression you're gonna get with those pistons. something like a rm m22x, buddy club IV, or skunk2 pro2. i personally like the m22x.

even with 93 octane you're going to have to pull lots of timing to keep it from pinging. if you have a good tuner he can make it work. but remember, one bad tank of gas or a really hot day can make it go boom.

i would use p30's or p73's. you can sell those pcts to someone that doesnt know any better and pick up either sets for pretty cheap
