Default MAP Sensor

I took my car to the mechanic after it was wasting like 1/3 a tank on a 35 mile trip (my job back and forth). He said it was that the MAP sensor was unplugged, so when he plugs it in it won't start up right. I decided that I would get a new one, but it turns out they are pretty pricy.

My question is, should I go with a new one from like kragen or somewher else you guys may know of? Thanks.

Would buying a used one be smart? As in it working and all.

If this is ok, then let me know what's up.

98% of Map sensors in Integras will out last the life of the car. So yeah getting a used one for cheap is not a bad idea.

Ah nice, any idea where I should get one? Junk yard? Recycler?

Thanks for the info.
