Changing rear brake pads... minor problem
^^ Wow that would have been helpful to know. Why would I need to replace the caliper soon? Its just a tiny tear, what bad will this cause? (If thats the case I might do it this weekend, my friend has a set of rear disk suspensions and i'll take that caliper).
Or how will I know when it starts to go bad??

Personally, I'd just leave them. They are working fine now, correct? No leaks? Did you bleed the lines after you changed your pads?
Brake jobs are one of the most common things I do, so pushing that caliper through to the next pad interval wouldn't bother me. I'm sure your car's fine though.
Ok, but my friend has a set now, they are used but I'm sure the boot is intact, I might just trade him my caliper, since he isn't using them at the moment anyway.
How would I know if it seizes up? Woud my rear wheel stop moving or would be caliper be stuck and just not be able to brake on that wheel anymore?? Thanx
