Or how will I know when it starts to go bad??
Hey, if you got the money, put new calipers on there. It's just preventive maintenance. It's probably too late but as somebody suggested - the grease would definitely help.

Personally, I'd just leave them. They are working fine now, correct? No leaks? Did you bleed the lines after you changed your pads?

Brake jobs are one of the most common things I do, so pushing that caliper through to the next pad interval wouldn't bother me. I'm sure your car's fine though.

Ok, but my friend has a set now, they are used but I'm sure the boot is intact, I might just trade him my caliper, since he isn't using them at the moment anyway.

How would I know if it seizes up? Woud my rear wheel stop moving or would be caliper be stuck and just not be able to brake on that wheel anymore?? Thanx

The caliper piston would just freeze up in the caliper and you will have little to no brake force on that wheel.
