I read the SRS reset on the obd2 integras http://www.geocities.com/myintegra96/srs.html

I have an obd1 integra 1995 that I cant reset with this method
does anyone know how?

 

I see that it worked for some 94-95 del sols and civics. Personally, I have used it on my 96 civic hatch and it worked fine... What's preventing you from resetting it?

 

I found a yellow plug that looks like a MES plug but it doesnt not reset the SRS after 6 7 or 8 seconds of grounding it while turning the key inot the on position

this is not a 96 and up 0bd2 car this is an obd1 car

 

i don't have any useful info for anyone (sorry) just a question to add, anyone know what causes the SRS light to come on in the first place? i know according to the manual the airbags need to be taken to the dealer to be checked out after 10 years, but other tha that i dotn know

 

i changed my seats. when you unplug the seat from the wire harness the SRS comes light comes on. I believe the seat belt is what trigers the air bag deployment
