cooling problem
I just checked ebay again and it looks like you probably got the Denso replacement, which is why your fans don't fit. This auction currently going looks exactly like the one you purchased (price and seller) but now it specifies that it's for integras with Denso's.

The one for the Showa's is like $30 more.

if you're not running A/C, then you can use 2 A/C fans. Just splice the radiator fan plug to run both of them at the same time. that's if you're on a really tight budget. even if you use an aftermarket unit, i would run a manual override. I've seen a few reliablity problem aftermarket fans in turbo engine. they're just not as reliable as stock. With a manual override, you can simply flip a switch and the fans come on and stay on until you turn them off. Just a little help in a bad situation, such as overheating at track days.
